NFL Draft Discussion-1st round

Where does JJ go? Any other Michigan guys in first round. I’m not from Michigan but I will throw in the question of who do the Lions go after? If I’m the Bears I’m drafting JJ and then Odunze. I just think he will be better than MHJ. Thoughts overall?

He's serious about winning it all from the LOS like he did at M. This pick shows it. He didn't even trade back to QB hungry teams. He knew the brilliance and the need of that pick. Frankly, it's the only way when you play in Mahomes' division and the whole league is trying to copy that style. Zig when others zag. Run and control the ball and kill the clock. Limit Mahomes' possessions. It will pay in a few years.

I think he just takes his favorite OT. Why help Minnesota after the stuff that happened a year ago? And Denver and Vegas are in the division. Giants will get JJ.

This is an odd thing to watch. Love JJ and obviously the sooner he gets picked the better for him but at the same time there's yet to be a team where I want to see him go. Lions don't really need him so I'm not sure what I'm even cheering for here.

They can cut Jones loose after the season due to an opt out. Would've loved McCarthy here, but WR was really a need for the offense. The Giants have many needs, and I would rather see them go for a QB after they fix the O-line. The choice was a good one. The Giants did not fuck it up. The Vikings will trade up for JJ soon, no doubt.

Nabers is a solid pick there, but I really think the Giants blew it - sticking with Daniel Jones another year with no one coming up is basically admitting they can't compete.

Now we have some opportunity for trading up.
