Hope a lot of recruits are tuned into the draft. That's nice PR.
Great experience for our guys and great PR for our team
That is really cool that the NFL is doing this. I'll.make sure to watch it. Thanks for posting.
Status of all the teeth in East Lansing and Columbus: gnashed (or missing altogether)
Before or after clutching their pearls?
Mostly a lot of moaning about cheating or something
They are the farmers sitting around the hole at the end of Fantastic Mr. Fox. Just waiting…and waiting…and waiting…
On both the NFL Network and ABC/bspn?
Yes, both.
Wow!!!! They're on stage. Never seen anything like this. Good pub!!!! Lots of boos I'm guessing mixed in.
It's a little weird to play the entire fight song though
Nothing weird about playing the entire Greatest College Fight Song ever; nothing weird about playing the entire fight song of the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP 🏆 TEAM.
Rich Eisen is loving it ---GO 💙 BLUE!
I 💙💛 Rich Eisen!!
Seeing the whole team on stage together just reminds me all over again that, yes, it did ACTUALLY happen!!!
Bet!
That was awesome. I wet myself
meanwhile in e. landfull and columbus they are clawing their eyes out. sorry sparty. sorry ohio. bwahahaha
We are so in their heads in ohio...
Did anyone notice last night during the Lions introductory shout out prior to the start of the draft that Hutchinson looks like a 1980's disco bouncer on roids? He looks like a different person - I guess it could be the professional training but thought *scum had a world beater in that position. JJM also looks like he's added a few pounds - guess that now he's not carrying vacuum cleaners constantly to sales calls, he's gotten a bit out of shape.
DISGUSTING THE NFL CELEBRATED THOSE CHEATING BASTARDS.
4 to 6. A to B. All in.
I think I just threw up in my mouth a little watching that tribute. I'm surprised Stalions wasn't up there with them lol.
"... THOSE CHEATING BASTARDS ..."
No self-awareness with that bunch. No, sir. They think they've had top-three recruiting classes for the last several years because of their general awesomeness and nothing else.
academics. and a very large toilet bowl. and coolers, lots of coolers.
ohio tears are so sweet. like honey from heaven. thank you for posting those. may they go through decades of frustration for their incredible unaware, hypocritical, and psychotic fandom. they have literally an entire state that is focused on one school and one team, and they can't get it done....
Would have loved a 2 minute highlight package and speech from Moore but I’ll take it! Pretty awesome.
Sweet sounds of the Victors!
Goodell bear hugged and whispered to Loveland: "See you soon kid."
MOAR RECEIVERS
The reaction to Jim's comment about seeing OL as weapons reminds me that many NFL folks don't watch college football. As we know, he's perfectly comfortable trotting out three OTs.
Or four or five.....
Wow! Already a crazy start to this 2nd rd with trades and picks I have not seen predicted!
That has to be the best moment in NFL draft history.
I just don't know how that can be topped.
That was rad
We're on a run of guys worse than Kris Jenkins at DT right now (and Newton, who's legit)
right. and guys rated in the high-60's who are getting taken in the high-30's overall. definition of 'reach'.
Unless there’s an insane run of lower-round Wolverines, I think we can dispense with the idea we’re setting a draft record.
JJ was the only guy projected early. Should be a run of Wolverines later this evening. Jenkins, Colson, Sainristil, Wilson probably.
I think the key will be if more than 5 get picked today. Because we're likely seeing Colson, Jenkins, Wilson, Corum, and Sainristil today.
So far, one third through the 2nd round, we're stuck on (checks notes) one. Same as Rutgers. I'm thinking a lot of Wolverines will be labeled as steals when this is over.
checks notes: ohio only has 1, also.
I'm starting to think all of these notes might not actually exist and this note-checking is some kind of rhetorical flourish?
secret look at the notes: ohio only had one player taken in the first round, just like michigan. then we had two more taken, waaaayyy more than ohio. so there, ohio.
Did you think that by this point in the draft—not far from the end of the second round—that Michigan would have just 3 guys drafted?
Prior to the draft, the Draft Big Board literally had Kris Jenkins going off the board as the second Wolverine picked... at 49. Kris Jenkins actually got picked... at 49, immediately followed by Mikey. I'm confused by your confusion.
UM breaking the record was always going to depend on how many guys like Drake Nugent and Michael Barrett slipped into rounds six and seven, rather than going undrafted. What's happened so far changes nothing.
As known before, tying or breaking the record will come down to the 3-4 of the border line drafable guys getting taken in the 6th or more likely 7th round.
Whether guys go high or low 2nd or 3rd has no bearing.
Someone is going to get a bargain on Cooper Dejean.
Anyone got a video of the draft honoring Michigan ?
thank you. that was fantastic.
and to think of the two wackiest fan bases' on the planet and how they are committing seppuku after seeing that. glorious all over again.
Who will be the next wolverine???
Kris Jenkins to the Bengals!
You called it Vlad!
Jenkins to the Bengals!
Jenkins #49
Even ohio NFL teams know enough to draft Wolverine players!
and there you go: jenkins.
