that really was weird. she went to europe with the team, was on the bench (with her arm in a sling, also never discussed), then disappeared. there was a reference to "no longer listed on the roster" on mlive or somewhere, and that's literally it. nothing. she wasn't a low-profile player, either - espn had her as a top-100. last google search i did had her at some juco in indiana, but not even listed on their wbb roster. i think?
to be the best you have to play the best. sometimes you get drilled, but that's okay, particularly if you've got a super-young team. challenge the kids, show them what they are fighting to become, and challenge the returning vets to be the new team leaders. bring it on.
