Have you played Madden recently? If you have, you would understand why my disposition is this way. There's a reason EA has garnered so much negative publicity.
The old games were super fun. They've been getting worse every year.
Again, I would love to be wrong and I hope I am but we'll just have to see when the product is here.
I wouldn't get your hopes up. EA is so riddled with microtransaction B.S. and have been coasting on it for a long time. The gameplay of their newer games is absolute garbage. While I'd like it to be actually good, I don't think it will ever compare to Denard cover NCAA 2014 unfortunately
I think before judgment is passed too quickly and what people should understand about the hire is an important key here:
"Both Minter and former Michigan DC Mike Macdonald, ran a version of Martindale's defense, with similar concepts and terminology. So the adjustment for the players might not be quite as dramatic as if another NFL coach took over."
Continuity is crucial for our defense here and the fact they won't be starting at square one is a huge, huge boon to their continued growth
I like to hear the outsider perspective personally when it's done in good taste and good faith. This video is a good watch, from a seemingly knowledged individual, about the minutia and brilliance of the play calling on both sides of the ball for Michigan. Details that can somewhat go unnoticed at times.
While I think Brian and Seth do a great job, it's cool to hear a neutral party praise the right things our coaching staff is doing and executing on the field
I know the playoff implications but i'm a little surprised Stafford is back out there. He was staring into the sky dead-eye'd after that hit on him. Definitely nobody home.
We still have time to nab a transfer or two. With the way this offense is run, I'd be more worried if we didn't have Loveland coming back and a stable of running backs more than a wide receiver. We use these things 80% of the time. The fact still stands that we have no idea the state of it before we start claiming the sky is falling in our WR room
We've got alot of freshman talent from last year that will get their chance to shine. It's way too early to know what the state of the depth is.
Besides, It's a huge boon to have a receiver turn corner just for the ability to catch the ball. Anytime Sainristil got his hands on the ball it was pretty much an automatic pick
Well if there isn't enough reason to give Jim a "Bear Hug" after winning a championship then there never will be one. He's compromised on contracts, made concessions, and did everything he was asked of to get them there.
He's done the pinnacle of what you could hope for as a fan by bringing an outright championship home
Concern aside here, the timing of that hire is suspect and we know exactly what the motive was.
Let's not kid ourselves. It was about gaining a competitive advantage. Whether he could actually give one or not is a whole different discussion.
It is case in point that these things need to be ironed out sooner than later if the NCAA is going to point fingers about one way and dismiss another as fair game.
I love Bill Burr anyways but he absolutely has a solid point about hiring Helow just for the semi-finals game and him dogging on OSU makes it all the funnier
Always certain users display negativity for no reason. His hatred for certain outlets has caused him to insult me personally as well if you look through his post history.
In other words, he is exactly the type of person that he claims to hate and copes on this board for some reason
Yeah it's interesting considering Thaw and Morgan both dropped one as well. Let's hope all of that is focused on and sorted out for next season. It made the battle of field position unnecessarily lopsided in the past few games.
Dude, You've talked about him 3 times today - I've mentioned his name once in the entire week and it was only to answer a question from another fellow user about Alabama's post mortem in a post last week. Why are you being so weird about it and attacking me?😂
You've told me I have "to sober up and get some pride" while calling people "idiots" who mentioned his name last week on said occasion and now suggesting that I should possibly see a therapist about posting "ragebait" yet I don't see anyone raging about him ever nor did I even post it. You're being thinly veiled with the passive aggression by trying to disguise it with concern and "worry" here which comes off as insulting and I think that you know that.
I don't necessarily disagree with you on your point that he's probably given too much publicity but you've completely lost me when you start slinging weird and unnecessary insults tacked on that don't strengthen your argument in the way that you think it does.
Let people talk about what they want to talk about. As long as it's about Michigan, properly caveated with an OT, and/or follows the rules of this forum then I don't see why it matters so much to YOU
That's why multiple threads exist.
Your opinion doesn't need to be announced in all of them if you don't like the subject or discussion at hand.
It's okay to talk about a topic and not entrench your entire existence and feelings into it.
I'm sure you did as you cannot discount the lengths that naysayers will go to in trying to minimize how utterly successful this Michigan football team was in knocking opponents off of their gameplans.
The point is that If it wasn't Stallions being used as low hanging fruit, it's some other totally inept and made up delusion
They just cannot grasp that Michigan had the best football team in college football this year and they've got the hardware now to prove it.

Sounds like badger fans didn't want to lose him so that's enough for me.
Obligatory "Suck it", Fickell!
11W isn't a place you go for rationalism
Time to start hoping for…
Time to start hoping for the best then 🤷
I got the popcorn ready!

nice to get a W on the coaching staff
Welcome back, Clink!
Time to put the drink down
I don't have to imagine it.. i watched it live for several years
it's kneecap biter season

I think they send out a bat signal for bad refs when the Lions are playing important games
Whether we get a stop coming out of half time or not will be telling for the rest of the game I'm afraid
Didn't think this secondary could look any worse but not having Jacobs is proving just that
It's almost like they're...wait for it...negotiating!
Great hire for them. I can't lie though a part of me wanted to see them hire Johnathan Smith just for the RCMB meltdown
Cheers to whatever he decides.
Class act from start to finish
Fair point but it all resulted in a championship so it's hard to really argue the staff's decision in my opinion

I have one word for you that should make you trust our staff's decision:
Sainristil.
+1 for a great reference
Pretty nifty, sir.
You get my upvote!
Go Blue!
Of course we did! We had all the signs!
Yes but it's Sparty and their mental gymnastics are enough to make Simone Biles jealous
They do whatever they can to cope and seethe out of accepting the truth that Michigan are the undisputed champions in college football.
I'm just eating popcorn and watching the fireworks at this point

The last thing a battered Penix expects is to get his balls intercepted by a Johnson near Rome
By far my favorite cope

You do know that right?
There were plenty of no-calls almost every game on holds to Michigan's defensive line too.
It's just sour grapes from naysayers per usual
I'm sure…
You ask the question, "Did I miss any?"
I'm sure you did as you cannot discount the lengths that naysayers will go to in trying to minimize how utterly successful this Michigan football team was in knocking opponents off of their gameplans.

Someone should put him in concussion protocol for his own well being after that take
Indubitably.
Hey, if it caused the stars to align, and for our boys to seal the natty, I'll take it all day!
