NCAA with another proposal to remain relevant
So the NCAA thinks schools are going to cooperate to avoid post season ban instead of saying nothing and getting no penalty.
NCAA proposal: Schools could avoid postseason ban with cooperation
Translation: “Even if we find no evidence of wrongdoing, if you don’t self-incriminate to our satisfaction we’ll still punish you.”
This is police-level “we got you on [crime], if you just admit it then we’ll tell the judge that you cooperated.” Surprise! Your confession is the only evidence they have.
What constitutes “exemplary cooperation”?
- A coupon to the local rub and tug?
- A few free swings at a Harbaugh piñata?
- A signed copy of John U Bacon's Let them Lead?
- A free work out session with Ben Herbert?
- A Baby's arm holding an apple?
NCAA finally realizing they will no longer by "NCAA" in the next few years.

LOL die clowns
Interesting. But are they going to be relevant?

At this point they're doing juuuuuust enough to not get vaporized in court.
Is this a threat or a promise?
I'd say for most teams, not having to play in the Myrtle Beach, R&L Carriers, Isleta New Mexico or the Scooters Coffee Frisco Bowl is a prize, not a punishment.
go pound dirt
They really do think they're the feds. Fuck em.
