Dylan Rashada to Georgia
WHY can’t Michigan be in on these guys? If roles were reversed and OSU needed a QB, they would have 100% gotten this guy. They even picked up Bama’s QB when they didn’t even need one. You’re meaning to tell me that Rashada wouldnt have rather been the starter at Michigan than wait for a year at Georgia? Michigan shoots itself in the foot and makes it harder to win when it’s 100% controllable. It’s infuriating.
I love winning national championships without winning the offseason. It’s the best way to win national championships.
Maybe “whining” the offseason would be more appropriate for OP. 🤷♂️🍻
Effing hilarious, you act like Michigan sat out the off season, pretty sure they won the off season three years ago when JJ and others committed and two years ago and last year and they better start winning a few off seasons again or you will be whining like you guys accuse op of.
So you agree with making it unnecessarily harder to win? You’re making a cognitive fallacy by equating winning a natty to saying we aren’t making it harder on ourselves.
I just love winning championships. Instead of it being infuriating, I actually find it exhilarating! I don’t even care how, but it’s almost more rewarding when other programs seem to get all the credit for the big name transfers that they get, but we just win the games.
Well, if you like winning championships, doing everything you can on your control to do so would probably be wise. Again, you’re making a cognitive fallacy here. It amazes me how many fans are okay with Michigan not getting the Underwood’s of the world when it’s 100% in their control. I’m sure people will be whining again when we start losing again because we don’t have the coaching advantage to make up for the talent gap that’s 100% controllable.
I love that you keep using the phrase "cognitive fallacy." Please define this concept, at great length and detail if possible.
When you connect to things via cause and effect that aren’t really connected.
Surely there's more to it than that? Like, can you think of an example? Feel free to be as detailed as possible.
I think he explained it perfectly, why would you expect OP to waste his time because you are deficient? Google it.
It amazes me how many fans have no idea what's really going on with Michigan not getting the Underwoods of the world. Oh, and they actually only have a few of the many, many variables out there in their control.

It astonishes me how many fans THINK they have an idea of what's really going on while pointing out how others don't know as much as him. It's pure comedy. What's the first rule of the Dunning Kruger Club? .....You don't know you're a member.
“100% in their control”…. With all due respect - what world do you live in?
Teenagers … influenced by parents and friends. Boosters offering monies above and below the table.
Schools that will spend $250+K on an official visit.
Keys to Lamborghinis being give out like candy on Halloween.
No enforcement whatsoever.
Yeah - Michigan has complete control over the decisions these high schoolers make. /s
It's hilarious because everything you've stated is spot on. I love the delusional posters who are the same people who wanted JH fired that are now making genius statements like "I like winning championships not the off-season". There's no S at the end of championship, it's ONE championship, don't act like we are a dynasty, we aren't and our savior has left the building.
To act like Michigan sat out the off season and still won a championship proves the delusion even more because Michigan did win the off season, they just did it three years ago when JJ committed. If they think we will win another championship sitting out the off season then we all know what will happen in a year or two, those same posters will be singing the same tune as you.
What I love the most is the arrogance with which they proclaim it.

Where are you getting the "S" in championships? Little bro, its A championship, not S. The delusion is real, Michigan does not have possession of the secret formula, they actually do need to participate in the off season but you just stick with your hopes and dreams if they make you feel better at night.
I love it when arm-chaired coaches point to these supposedly low hanging fruits, thinking that a team of competitive people who are doing this for a living must have missed that juicy fruit.
April 25th, 2024 at 10:06 PM ^
Do you actually think that's what he is saying? If you think that, then maybe that explains why so many other posters are reacting like you because I dont believe this is even close to op's point. I think this is just the reaction of arm-chaired college football experts whose team won A championship and think their team is suddenly superior to every other team because of it and somehow they can skip the off season. Brilliant.

The cognitive fallacy may be thinking these things are 100% in Michigan’s control.

Do you really think that's what op is saying? Interesting oversimplification, maybe its common here.
He literally wrote this above: "It amazes me how many fans are okay with Michigan not getting the Underwood’s of the world when it’s 100% in their control". So, yes, that is exactly what the OP is saying.

I'm not sure if this post is more arrogant, ignorant or comedic but regardless, thank you for the entertainment.
Who the hell is Dylan Rashada?
I think you mean Jaden Rashada. If you think he's so good that Michigan should be forking over big $$$ for him, you should probably get his name right.
Yea his recruiting history between Miami and Florida..then magically appearing at ASU...that's not anything Michigan would touch nor would I want to..he is looking for only $$$$$$ and nothing else.
He's a Dylan Raiola and Jaden Rashada hybrid.
Dylan Rashada has the potential to be as good as Peyton Brady.
I preferred Tom Manning. He was legit.
Is Jaden’s brother Dylan any good?
Feels early to be drunk but you be you
We cannot even get his name right. We don’t deserve to have him.
Remember when we got Aubrey Solomon after sending him a thank you for coming to a recruiting event that he never actually attended? Those were the good ol' days.
Thamel also got his first name wrong. Granted, he was waaaaaayyyyyy closer.
Jayden Rashada has committed to Georgia, per his agent, Henry Organ, of Disruptive Spirts.

Henry Organ, of Disruptive Spirts
I think a little blue pill could solve Henry’s organ only working in disruptive spirts.
He was literally called to Georgia 10 seconds after he showed up in the portal. Clearly he was contacted and offered a deal to transfer to Georgia. No one else even had a shot at him.
That’s what people said about Downs going to Georgia. And then OSU, you know, actually tried, and got him.
Not how I remember that going (ahem) down. As soon as Downs was in the portal people were saying OSU was likely and Georgia only got mentioned because his DB coach got hired there.
Not at all how it went down.
Provide any evidence? Or nah?
Both were mentioned, but I remember reading Georgia was the leader and then OSU offered him like $2 million dollars. There’s an SI story from 1-17-24 declaring Georgia as the clear front runner.
There you go. The amount of Michigan fans in denial of their putrid approach to recruiting and transfers, somehow justifying it with the natty, are in for a rude awakening. Just bc you win a natty, doesn’t mean you’re doing everything right. Michigan wouldn’t get a JJ if NIL were a thing when he was recruited. Think about that.
Yeah, we suck. We're stupid. We're not even trying. I mean, do you even have a clue what you're trying to say, what your specific critique is? Does "actually tried" mean that you think people aren't trying, let alone succeeding, despite a lot of the odds? You want to be respected for a post, think this stuff through.
I swear that it's the people with the most unimaginative screen names who offer the worst posts. It never fails.
Never said we suck. Just saying we shoot ourselves in the foot unnecessarily. Take OSU’s level of recruiting and add in our culture and we’re unbeatable year in and year out.
It's pretty sucky to shoot yourself in the foot. So, yeah, we would suck if we did that.
The problem is their recruiting directly conflicts with our culture. It’s one or the other. So far our method has been successful vs theirs, but we’ll see how it goes without Harbaugh and most of his staff.
Then why is Michigan interested in the Underwood’s and Zaquan’s of the world? Gee, it’s almost like there are top guys that DO fit the culture, but UM can’t get them because of its putrid NIL, thanks to Warde.
I believe "OSUs level of recruiting" and having "UMs culture" is mutually exclusive.
According to OP its "cognitive failure".

I love it when posters make posts with such certainty of their superiority that they actually believe they can belittle other posters. It's like they truly believe they have the answers to the test and nobody else does. The arrogance/ignorance is laughable, thank you for the comedy.

How could you have joined in 2013 and still not understand there are very intelligent people on this blog. Not all, but more so than most sports focused sites. You better have your shit together when you post something here because there is probably someone who knows more about it than yourself who will be reading it. Personally, I appreciate it. It’s far more entertaining than typical sports drivel.

Isn't that what you're doing in pretty much everything you've posted here?

I'm just waiting for him/her/they to get their two accounts mixed up in this thread.

This is GENIUS, pure GENIUS, judging a poster base on his screen name. I mean, the intellect just oozes from your pores. It's one thing you actually THINK this but then to articulate it in public, embarrassing .
