Wasn't that an 'N Sync song? Bye-bye, Bai?
You're right, ain't no lie
They said "bye" five times, just so each member of the group could have their moment in the sun.

end thread/
Please tell me that it’s pronounced as it reads. NOTY needs to be called on this one.
Bye, Jobe.
Great musician. I love Living On A Prayer.
Goodness gracious!
Can't blame him. He wants a jobe after college.
Is this Pedro Serrano’s voodoo doll?
Are you trying to say Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?
Was this the guy who almost committed to us at one time?
I don't think so.
We were in on him, but not sure we "almost" got him
M was in his top group for quite a while. He and Enow Etta were seriously considering both M and MSU in that class.
Jobe was one of the kids that was swayed by the trendy NFL pass-rush guru that Mel hired as an analyst - Brandon Jordan - aka the guy that Rashan Gary and many other NFL players trained with in the offseason. (He left MSU for the Seahawks before last year and is now on the OSU staff as an analyst as he was not retained by McDonald)
FWIW - The second ranked player in Jobe’s MSU class was also a DE that M was in on early …..Andrew DePape… It appears Andrew also chose MSU due to Jordan, and he also entered the portal this week.
I wonder if Jordan will be the replacement for whenever Larry Johnson retires. Not sure how good he is as a d line coach, and he probably can’t improve osu recruiting above what it already is.
Bai Jobe, I think MSU is in a spot of trouble.
I think I know what happened. Coach Smith got confused. He saw that he is in the same conference as USC and UCLA, thought he was back in the PAC12 where defense doesn’t exist, and jettisoned all of his defensive players.
225lb DE after a year on campus, are they trying to bulk him up with kale?
He's 252 lbs. now.
You sure that's not a transposition error?
MSU players tend to grow fast
HaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHaHa. Best SI cover ever. I remember when it came out, they should have had a picture of Barry Sanders on it and stated Best Running Back Prospect Ever as the caption.
I was playing football in HS at the time about an hour away from MSU at the time, and even in my small little town team, everyone knew Mandarich was on the roids and heard of his roid rage exploits from my sister who was in school at the time with him. Compared to Scott Skiles cocaine stories, MSU wrs shooting themselves in the foot and Lorenzo White driving around in a like a pimp outfit for his Heisman candidate season, Mando was near the top of MSU a very competitive Hall of Fame story boards for our Spartan friends pre-2000.

At the time I heard he was taking horse steroids and that's why he was passing the tests.
That cover may explain SI’s demise….
To be fair, a few years later they wrote another story on him entitled “The Incredible Bust.”
Former basketball player who got injured last year. Project Beef is still in its early stages
Just breaks my heart
Turns out using NFTuck as payment for NIL wasn't the best idea.
I haven’t heard a whisper about this guy being a problem or anything other than an awesome prospect. He’s reportedly pretty active in the community, and IIRC redshirted last year after injury, so it wasn’t a skill issue.
If he’s healthy and his grades are in good shape, we should get him on campus ASAP.
[btw, rumor is that MSU insiders were surprised he entered the portal]
5th guy in 2 days and 32nd MSU Xfer out since last season. Wait til the Oregon St guys get homesick when the weather starts to suck.
They lost a K from Dearborn today too. Thats 33

Rumor is ishbia paid him half a million to get on campus and U of Miami laughs at that
MSU is Miam's bitch (farm system)
Meanwhile over at RCMB in the post announcing his departure
"Too skinny to play in the B1G"
"No loss"
"Addition by subtraction"
"New staff gave him an honest evaluation"
And someone created a thread entitled "The transfer portal has helped MSU" which is going exactly as you think it would.
Justin Thind on the Twitters is spin doctoring like a madman.
The callousness of people who write off a highly rated recruit after a redshirt freshman season in which he played in 1 game (IIRC) and then got injured…after being a basketball player for most of his life…is a level of copium from Sparty that I wish I was surprised about
The transfer portal has helped MSU... rid itself of almost all of its NFL level talent while adding G5 level talent in its place!
Thanks transfer portal!
You know, they really do try to create a belief on RCMB that they aren't the sort of fanbase given to these stereotypical message board behaviors, and yet....
I'd like to thank you for your bravery and your service in contacting and summarizing the activity in the RCMB cesspool.
"New staff gave him an honest evaluation" is my favorite. That evaluation was probably something like "you are by far the most talented player on our roster," at which point he said damn, if that's the case i'm outta here.
The non stop moving of the goal posts is hilarious. I'm not even sure if these people believe what they say.
These recent departures seem like a particularly big issue for them, given that DL is one of the hardest position groups to bolster via the portal
Unless you're bolstering via MSU's DL depth chart.
MSU players entering the portal shouldn't be surprising considering they have a brand new coaching staff.
Did something happen to Tuck? Is he still coming?
