Grew up my whole life listening to Fire Up...It's Saturday on cross-state gameday road trips to Ann Arbor, and now sitting here with an MMB record I'm on with a championship ring and diploma on the way.
Life's too crazy right now, when my feet finally touch the ground I'll write a new diary (hopefully before the return of "There are..."). STREAM THE ALBUM + GO BLUE!
in my opinion they haven't come out with a better sounding album than Fire Up...It's Saturday. And that was 25ish years ago. The ones they come out with nowadays don't sound like they were recorded professionally. But that's just me
Question for band aficionados: where can I find a version of temptation that gets played after 3rd down stops? You know, the one where the bones hit that extra high note towards the end.
The Temptation high-Eb is not officially written in the music, so it's likely omitted at the recording session.
So glad there's more MMB music on Spotify now. There was like one recording, and then it'd autoplay different arrangements that have -- ugh -- prominent woodwinds, or even worse, a GD stinger at the end.
